CORONAVIRUS OFFICE UPDATES
OFFICE POLICIES AND WORK HOURS
In response to the increasing rate of COVID19 spread in our area, ensuring our patients and staffs safety, and taking into consideration our social responsibility to "flatten the curve", the Poblete Dermatology team have decided to temporarily close the office starting April 6, 2020.
We will continue to take care of our patients in this time of crisis. For any new skin concern, follow up care or medication refill, we now offer TELE-DERMATOLOGY. These are online visits where we can see and treat patients in the comfort, convenience, and safety of their own homes. Patients are billed through their insurance companies as if they were seen in our office.
You can schedule these appointments by calling our office at 609-838-9040, emailing us at or through our website. Somebody will reach out to you to give you instructions on how to go about it. For more information, kindly click on the link on the right side.
For urgent/ emergency skin concerns that need to be seen in person, please call the office and we can schedule an emergency appointment for you.
For pathology call backs, we will call our patients as soon as the results come back.
For other questions, our office lines will be open from 8:00 - 4:00 pm Monday to Thursday and from 8:00 - 12:00 noon on Fridays.
We thank our dear patients for their understanding and we pray that everyone practices social distancing in order for us to control this crisis quickly.
Let's all work together in order to achieve a healthy, coronavirus free community!
Maria R. Abello-Poblete, MD, FAAD
Coronavirus 2020 and immunosuppressants
There is an increasing number of coronavirus cases in the US and we are continuously monitoring this matter for the welfare of our patients and staff.
Our greatest concern is for our patients who are on prescriptions for hair, skin or other conditions that weaken the function of their immune system. For these patients, if they feel like they have any flu like symptoms, we recommend holding their medication until they have recovered from the infection. Kindly call us if you decide to discontinue your medications.
The medications that may weaken your immune system are the following:
Cellcept/ Mycophenolate Mofetil
If you have other concerns you want to discuss further with us, kindly call us at 609-838-9040.
